Boys Soccer: Warwick vs. Conestoga Valley (10-11-22)

After a scoreless 1st half between Warwick & Conestoga Valley… the Warriors broke thru with a pair of 2nd half Goals from Connor Kirchner & Caden Lausch! Warwick won 2-0 over Conestoga Valley…it was both teams last Section 1 game… neither is headed to the League Playoffs! So they now wait for the 4A District 3 Playoffs, where both teams will have road games on Tuesday, October 25!

It was “Dig Pink Night” for the annual “Backyard Brawl” in girls volleyball 🩷🏐🩷 Ephrata jumped out to the early 2-0 lead, but Cocalico grabbed Game 3… 25-18 to avoid the sweep! Lady Mounts regrouped & won Game 4… 25-15 to take the match 3-1! Ephrata's Sofia Rios had a Great serving night with 7 total aces! Martina Elliot led the team with 14 kills! For the Lady Eagles, Jaclyn Niven had 16 kills and 5 blocks!

The "Backyard Brawl" was painted PINK for the Annual Dig Pink event that raises funds & awareness for Breast Cancer research, as Ephrata & Cocalico squared off in a Section 2 clash! Lady Mounts take the rivalry this year... sweeping the match 3-0 & sweeping the season series 2-0! Check out these highlights...

Cocalico completed the comeback Win over Warwick… 9-6… with 5 unanswered goals in the 4th quarter to close out the game! Eagles Tate Renaud had 3 Goals, Evan Youndt & Alex Stokrp each had 2! Warriors Cole McSparren had 2 Goals! Here are the highlights…

Softball: Conestoga Valley vs. Ephrata (4-24-23)

We saw a pitcher's duel on the channel between Conestoga Valley's Rhiannon Henry & Ephrata's Ellie Meier, who both combined for 14 strikeouts! Lady Mounts broke the scoreless game open in the 5th with an Ellie Meier sacrifice fly! It was all Ephrata needed to beat CV 1-0!

-- The 3 Game Series between CV & Ephrata is tied 1-1! The final meeting this season will be Monday, May 1 at Conestoga Valley (4:15pm)
