Boys Volleyball: Ephrata vs. Cocalico (4-13-23)

Once AGAIN… the Warwick Warriors are headed to the L-L League Boys 🏀 Championship & once again… they will face Cedar Crest!

▪️Warwick beat Lancaster Mennonite 59-35 in the L-L Semifinals, thanks to a Career-High 20 points from Caleb McCamant (3-3’s)! Ya’Majesty Washington added 18 points (4-3’s)… both players combined to outscore LMH 38-35! Warwick’s Defense also held Cody Fisher, the League’s 6th highest scorer (17PPG), to just 2 points!

🔹L-L League Finals: Section 2 Champ Warwick (19-4) vs. Section 1 Champ Cedar Crest (16-7) — Friday, February 14 at Manheim Township HS at 7pm!

WHAT A WILD WALKOFF WIN!

Trailing 6-3 in the bottom of the 9th... Lancaster "stormed-back" with 4 runs to walk it off against Staten Island... 7-6! The comeback seemed unlikely after the Stormers trailed 5-0 early & then 6-3 in the 9th... but Lancaster's next 6 batters reached based, including Joseph Carpenter's RBI fielder's choice that scored Shawon Dunston Jr. with the GAME-WINNING RUN!

Hempfield Boys Volleyball makes a statement as they sweep Warwick 3-0, ending the Warriors unbeaten record! Black Knights also forced a tie atop the Section 1 standings! Both teams have now won on their home courts... if they win out, Warwick & Hempfield will share the title! Will we see a Round #3? Manheim Central Softball SLUGGED their way to victory over Cocalico... 16-0 in 3 innings! Lady Barons had 3 Home Runs on the night… a pair of 2-Run HR’s for Kayleigh Detz & a 3-Run HR for Miranda Ober ??? ?Career Milestone? Gabby Wettig smacked her 100th hit as a Lady Baron!
