Cocalico used a strong 12-3 advantage in the 2nd quarter to open up the gap over Garden Spot & eventually ran away with it for a 78-52 Win! Timmy Hambright, the L-L League’s leading scorer, dropped in 24 points (3-3’s) to lead all scorers, followed by his Eagle teammate Karter Deering with 14! For the Spartans, Cooper Usner had a team-high 14 points (4-3’s)… MJ Davis added 13! — Next league game for Cocalico (12-3 Overall, 5-3 in Section 2) is next Friday, January 23 against Warwick (12-3 Overall, 5-2 in Section 2)! The Warriors beat the Eagles in Round 1 by a score of 61-55!

Cocalico and Manheim Central were locked in a tight ballgame that came down to the final innings... as the Lady Barons rallied to win 5-4! Cocalico took the early 3-0 lead, with runs by Kira Lehman, Gretchen Showalter & Clarissa Lockman... but Central plated 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd with a 2 RBI single from Abbi Logan! Lady Barons would take the 4-3 lead in the 4th & tack on another run in the 5th! Cocalico cut it to 5-4 late, but could not plate the tying run! L-L League Football — Week 2 – Ephrata vs Manheim Central (8/29/25)

Ephrata made it 2 Wins in a row against Manheim Central with a 17-6 Win in Week 2! Barons RB Logan Geib put Central in front 6-0 with a 7yd rushing TD! But the Mounts ran off 17 unanswered points to get the victory! QB Carson Martin had 2 passing TD's (Frain & Grant) along with 2 tackles for loss & a sack on defense!

Fun fact: this was Ephrata's 400th Win in program history, dating back to their start in 1910! The Mounts are 2-0 to kickoff the 2025 Season & will be on Blue Ridge 11 in Week 3 vs. Garden Spot!
