Cocalico used a strong 12-3 advantage in the 2nd quarter to open up the gap over Garden Spot & eventually ran away with it for a 78-52 Win! Timmy Hambright, the L-L League’s leading scorer, dropped in 24 points (3-3’s) to lead all scorers, followed by his Eagle teammate Karter Deering with 14! For the Spartans, Cooper Usner had a team-high 14 points (4-3’s)… MJ Davis added 13! — Next league game for Cocalico (12-3 Overall, 5-3 in Section 2) is next Friday, January 23 against Warwick (12-3 Overall, 5-2 in Section 2)! The Warriors beat the Eagles in Round 1 by a score of 61-55!

Girls Lacrosse: West York vs. Warwick (5-6-25)

Warwick Won 21-10 on Senior Night over West York! After leading 9-8 at halftime, the Warriors outscored the Bulldogs 12-2 in the 2nd half! It was an extra special night offensively for several Seniors... Grace Cianci-Krall (6 Goals), Jill Dougherty (6 Goals), Cam McClosky (2 Goals), Hannah Burkholder (2 Goals) & Grace Rothenberger (1 Goal)… who combined for 17 of Warwick’s 21 Goals! Freshman Elena Care scored the remaining 4 Goals!

Warwick picks up their 1st Win of the season in WALK-OFF fashion 6-5 over Conestoga Valley! Senior Cole Gerhart lines a single to left to bring in the game-winning run in the bottom of the 7th!

Boys Soccer: Elco vs. Manheim Central (8-25-25)

Elco earned the 3-0 shutout against Manheim Central in early, non-league action! Jevan Marquette (13’), Cru Frederick (23’) & Ben Macchione (55’) scored for the Raiders! Central Goalie Zach Spangler made a nice PK save in the opening minutes of the game, the Elco Offense was too much! Barons drop Game 1 of the season, while Elco moves to 2-0 with a 4-0 margin of victory!
