Boys Basketball: Ephrata vs. Warwick (1-3-25)

Warwick staked their claim as “Top Dog” in Section 2 with a 53-36 Win over Ephrata! Parker Horst (16pts) & Caleb McCamant (14pts) poured in Season Highs for the Warriors, who used a 16-7 advantage in the 3rd quarter to blow the game open! Marcus Hardin led Ephrata with 11 points!

— The rematch is January 28 at Ephrata!

L-L Boy’s Basketball Playoffs (Semifinals): Hempfield vs Warwick (2-16-22)

It was a Battle of former Section 1 foes & heated Rivals in the L-L League as Hempfield & Warwick squared off in the L-L League Semifinals! Black Knights had the advantage on the boards & used it, knocking off Warwick again…52-48! Tate Landis led all scorers with 17pts; Carter Horst had 11! Cole Overbaugh had 12pts for Hempfield! Atlantic League Baseball: Southern Maryland vs. Lancaster (8-7-24)

Lancaster Stormers walk it off against Southern Maryland!

Stormers Centerfielder Joe Stewart knocked home the ONLY run of the game in the bottom of the 7th as Lancaster took both games of the doubleheader from Southern Maryland! Noah Bremer pitched 5 innings for the Lancaster, giving up 2 hits, NO runs with 4 K's! Phil Diehl got the Win for the Stormers, who took the series from the Blue Crabs with one more to go on Thursday, August 8!
