Boy’s Basketball Manheim Central vs. Cocalico (2/8/21)

It was a Senior Night to remember for Manheim Central softball, who got the win 12-4 over Garden Spot! ??? Lady Barons hammered out 16 hits, as Seniors Emma Damon & Gabby Wettig went a combined 6-7 at the plate with 8 RBI total! Check out these highlights…

Manheim Central narrowly escaped Ephrata with a 30-29 victory that came down to the Final bout of the night! After a hard fought, back & forth match that saw Central lead early and Ephrata fight all the way back to take the lead… Barons Brodie Daugherty (189lbs) won by tech fall (19-4) to seal the Win!

-- Manheim Central moved to 3-0 & stayed atop the Section 2 standings!

Lancaster finally took a game from the York Revolution... 4-3! Niko Hulsizer & Joe Stewart combined to go 5-7 with 2 HR's, a triple & a double with 3 RBI! Stormers kept their 3 game lead in the North Division over the Revs!

Manheim Central rallied late in the game to take Round 1 against Cocalico… 4-3! Barons exploded for 3 runs in the 6th inning, capped off by Ky Watson’s RBI 1b! Trevor Lowe picked up the Win! Trent Dickson threw 6 solid innings with 7 K's, but was chased in the 6th! Nolan Book also blasted a solo home run for the Barons! Central has now won 3 straight Section 3 games!
