Manheim Central picked up a 7-2 win over Section 3 rival Cocalico, sweeping the season series 3-0! Central’s Cam Thompson went 3-3 with 5 RBI! Senior pitcher Cael Martin got the Win! ◾️Barons punched their ticket to the L-L League Playoffs (2nd place in Sec. 3) on Thursday, May 9 & will face Section 1 Champ Hempfield at 4:15pm!

Ephrata completed the season sweep of Lampeter-Strasburg, knocking off the Pioneers 7-1! Camryn Simes threw 6.2 strong innings, 11 K’s, 4 H, 1 R! Trent Wolf had a 3 hit day, including a crucial 3 RBI triple in the 5th! Ephrata is 10-1 in Section 2, closing in on another Title & home Playoff game!

Ephrata Mounts came away with a convincing WIN on Senior Night… 42-14 over Muhlenberg! Senior RB Andre Weidman scored 4 TD’s in his Final game at War Memorial Field & went over the 3,000 yard career rushing mark… an Ephrata Football Program RECORD ?? No other Mount has hit the 3K mark rushing! Congrats to Andre on the career milestone & to the Mounts for a BIG Win!

Thriller of a game between Elco & Manheim Central girls!?? Went down to the wire but Elco escapes Manheim with the 54-53 victory! Maddie Knier was spectacular with 28 points, but Elco had 3 players in double figures... Kailey Eckhart (16), Ashley Yoh & Amanda Smith (14)! Smith hit the game-winner with 10 seconds left!
