Girls Basketball: Ephrata vs. Cocalico (2-4-26)

This Section 2 Clash between Ephrata & Cocalico turned into a REAL “Backyard Brawl” as both teams battled Defensively ALL night! Lady Mounts turned a 14-10 deficit at halftime into a 31-26 Win & outscored Cocalico 21-12 to finish the game! ▪️Emily Bender’s Career High 15 points for Ephrata led all scorers, as she scored 8 of the Lady Mounts first 10 points! Brynn & Brielle Martin both had 7 points for Cocalico! 🔸Ephrata (16-4 Overall, 11-1 in League play) locked up a share of the Section 2 🏆 with Warwick (11-1)! It’s the Lady Mounts 3rd straight Section 2 Title & Warwick’s First since 1991! 🔹Both Ephrata & Warwick will play in the L-L League Quarterfinals on Monday, February 9! Blue Ridge 11 📺 will air whomever hosts on Monday Night… so stay tuned to social media for updates!

Boys Soccer: Elco vs. Manheim Central (8-25-25)

Elco earned the 3-0 shutout against Manheim Central in early, non-league action! Jevan Marquette (13’), Cru Frederick (23’) & Ben Macchione (55’) scored for the Raiders! Central Goalie Zach Spangler made a nice PK save in the opening minutes of the game, the Elco Offense was too much! Barons drop Game 1 of the season, while Elco moves to 2-0 with a 4-0 margin of victory!

Baseball: Cumberland Valley vs. Ephrata (4-25-25)

Ephrata dropped a 9-6 non-league matchup against the #4 ranked team in 6A District 3… Cumberland Valley! Mounts took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the 1st inning after Landry Weidner crushed a 2 run homer to left! But the Eagles went on an 8-1 run after that and staved off a late-inning, bases loaded rally to beat the Mounts!
