Ryleigh Warner had 6 goals on the night for the Lady Mounts, while Lyla Clement ended with 4, Kiera Wene had 2! On Senior Night, Ephrata ran into the hot bats of Conestoga Valley, who scored 13 runs on 10 hits to beat the Lady Mounts 13-3 in 5 innings! Big night at the plate for CV's Ava Smith, Bianca Henry & Laila Smith... who all combined to go 9-10 at the plate with 10 RBI! Buckskins Julia Rhoads picked up her 8th win of the season in the circle!
Mounts WALKED IT OFF 3-2 over Manheim Central in a WILD ending to a fast-paced, close game! Barons took the early lead with 2 runs in the 3rd inning, but the Mounts answered back with 2 runs in the 4th inning! After 7 full innings, the game was tied 2-2... so we went extra innings! Ephrata loaded the bases bottom of the 8th inning & on a full count, Ethan Hunt took off for home... the pitch hit JD Muhr and Ephrata Won in dramatic fashion! -- Camryn Simes (7-0) came away with the Win in relief for Ephrata!
Cocalico took care of business against Garden Spot in a Section 2 matchup, beating the Spartans 3-0 (25-6, 25-17, 25-15)! Eagles moved to 8-1 overall & 5-1 in Section 2, just a game back of Manheim Central! 🔹Josh Byrom led the Eagles with 10 kills, Reilly Stark had 7! Senior Colson Hildebrand served really well with 9 aces thru out the 3 games! Jacob Wambolt had 26 assists!
