Warwick and Manheim Central braved the elements for a non-league showdown in L-L Softball! Warwick came away with the victory 11-2 over Central! Warriors jumped out to an early 4-0 lead & tacked on more to lead it 8-0 after 3 innings! Warwick’s Mackenzie Ellis, Sophia Steffy & Sophie Smutz each had a pair of hits & runs to get the Offense going! Warriors Pitching Ace Kate Shaak (7 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 13 K) went the distance for her 37th Career Win! Central’s Kayleigh Detz had a triple & a single (her courtesy runner scored both runs)… Abbi Logan had a pair of RBI singles!

Warwick’s bid to win their 1st District 3 Title since 1984 ran out of steam as #1 Reading handed the Warriors a 68-43 loss in the 6A Finals! It was Reading’s 23rd ?? a District 3 record! Ruben Rodriguez had a Game-High 23 points for the Red Knights... check out these game highlights! For the Warriors, Tate Landis, Avery Sapp & Caleb Johnsen all had 10 points! Warwick now moves onto the 6A PIAA State Tournament. They host District 7, 4th Place team... Mt. Lebanon on Wednesday, March 9 at 6pm!
L-L Wrestling: Garden Spot vs. Ephrata (12-15-21)
Great matchup for our First HS Wrestling match of the Winter Sports Season! Garden Spot and Ephrata went back & forth 7 total Falls between the 2 squads! Ephrata took the lead early, had it late... but the Spartans pulled off 2 late pins to sneak out of town with the win... 33-29! Check out these entertaining highlights...
Boys Volleyball: Cocalico vs. Manheim Central (4-1-25)
In a “Battle of the Unbeatens” early in the Section 2 season, Manheim Central took Cocalico’s Best shot but handed the Eagles their first loss of the year… 3-1 (25-14, 23-25, 25-22, 27-25)! Reagan Miller had a big day for the Barons with 21 kills & 2 huge aces in Game 4! Cocalico’s Colson Hildebrand had 14 kills for the Eagles!
🔹Round 2 is at Cocalico on Thursday, April 24… By the way, Manheim Central is ranked #2 in AA in the State!
