Manheim Central’s History-Making run in the PIAA State Playoffs came to an end Sunday! Lady Barons fell 49-34 to West York in the 5A Girls 2nd Round! Lady Barons' Maddie Knier led ALL scorers with 18 points, but it wasn’t enough as 4 Bulldogs scored in double-figures! Manheim Central finished the season 20-8, with a Section 3 Co-Championship, a 4th place finish in District 3 & the First EVER State Playoff win in program history!

Fantastic First game in our Girls Soccer coverage this Fall! Warwick knocks off Manheim Central 3-2 in a hotly contested showdown! Warriors Olivia Shertzer led the way with 2 Goals… Grace Bowman added her 1st goal of the season! Warwick moved to 2-0! Round 1 of the “Backyard Brawl” went to Ephrata (4-1 Sec. 2) who knocked off rival Cocalico (3-3 Sec. 2) 58-43! Mounts used a 17-4 advantage in the 4th quarter to pull away! Ephrata’s Marqus Hardin led all scorers with 22 points! Landry Kopp & Grayson Shellhammer each added 11! Cocalico’s Timmy Hambright had 19 points, including 5 three-pointers!
