L-L Girl’s Basketball: Warwick vs. Cocalico (12-10-21)

Hempfield & Warwick's "Championship Clash" in the L-L Boys Volleyball Final was another classic match in this rivalry series! The Warriors and Black Knights left it all out on the court, battling for each and every point, but it was Hempfield who earned their 24th League Title with a 3-1 win over Warwick! The Ephrata Mounts are once again BACK ON TOP of the L-L Baseball mountain after beating Lampeter-Strasburg 4-3 in the League Finals! It's Ephrata's first League Title since 2018 & the 5th overall for the program!

In their 4th straight trip to the 4A Semifinals, #2 Warwick FINALLY made it thru to the District 3 Championship Game with a 3-0 Win over #11 Mechanicsburg! Eli Yerger scored 2 Goals for the Warriors… 37th minute & 77th minute! Gavin Kochel scored his first varsity goal in the 63rd minute! Warwick advanced to their first District 3 Final since 2005 (when they tied Manheim Township 3–3 & shared the ⚽️🏆)

-- Warwick has already qualified for States! ▪️ 4A District 3 Boys ⚽️ Finals: #2 Warwick vs. #1 Cumberland Valley - Saturday, November 2 at Central Dauphin MS (Landis Field) 3pm!

After a scoreless 1st half between Warwick & Conestoga Valley... the Warriors broke thru with a pair of 2nd half Goals from Connor Kirchner & Caden Lausch! Warwick won 2-0 over Conestoga Valley…it was both teams last Section 1 game... neither is headed to the League Playoffs! So they now wait for the 4A District 3 Playoffs, where both teams will have road games on Tuesday, October 25!
