5A District 3 Football Playoffs – Finals: Ephrata vs. Cocalico (11-24-23)

Cocalico won their 5th District 3 Title in program history by knocking off “Backyard Rival” Ephrata… 23-9! Eagles won the 5A Championship for the 2nd year in a row… the only Cocalico squad to go back to back in school history!

— The Eagles will play Friday, December 1 in the 5A State Semifinals against Peters Township (District 7 Champ) at Mansion Park in Altoona

Back to back tough losses for Warwick, who fell 3-1 to Penn Manor! After tying the game in the 6th inning with a lead-off home run by Madison Minney... the Comets got 2 runs in the 7th inning & Warwick could not respond!

Softball: Cocalico vs. Manheim Central (5-8-23)

Manheim Central made it a Senior Night celebration to remember, sweeping the season series against Cocalico 3-0! Lady Barons won 11-0 in 5 innings! They moved to 12-6 overall, 12-3 in Section 3... finishing in 2nd place and qualifying for Leagues & Districts!

-- Manheim Central scored 6 runs in the 2nd inning, 4 runs in the 3rd inning

Boys Soccer: Governor Mifflin vs. Ephrata (8-26-24)

Ephrata boys soccer opened their season playing a full 100 minutes to a 1-1 draw against Governor Mifflin! Mounts Michael Straubel scored in the 28th minute to give Ephrata the lead, but Mustangs clanged one home off the crossbar right before halftime! Both keepers closed it down after that! Senior Austin Fries was Fantastic in goal for the Mounts!
