#1 Manheim Central had to literally survive & advance today beating #16 Mechanicsburg 4-3! Barons took an early 4-0 lead, but hung on against a scrappy Wildcats squad & moved onto the 5A District 3 Quarterfinals on Thursday against #8 Muhlenberg! In a “Battle of the Unbeatens” early in the Section 2 season, Manheim Central took Cocalico’s Best shot but handed the Eagles their first loss of the year… 3-1 (25-14, 23-25, 25-22, 27-25)! Reagan Miller had a big day for the Barons with 21 kills & 2 huge aces in Game 4! Cocalico’s Colson Hildebrand had 14 kills for the Eagles!

🔹Round 2 is at Cocalico on Thursday, April 24… By the way, Manheim Central is ranked #2 in AA in the State!

#7 Cocalico won 42-21 in the 1st Round of 5A District 3 Playoffs against #10 Hershey! Dane Horning had 2 rushing TD’s… Josh Myer added 3 more TD’s on the ground… but it was the punt block by Jerry McArdle & TD recovery by Thomas Dattoli that swung the game for Cocalico! Eagles have now won 8 straight District 3 Playoffs games, dating back to 2022!
