Barons took an early 4-0 lead, but hung on against a scrappy Wildcats squad & moved onto the 5A District 3 Quarterfinals on Thursday against #8 Muhlenberg! L-L Wrestling: Cocalico vs. Warwick (1-19-22)
?WHAT A MATCH? Cocalico & Warwick wrestled an intense Section 1 match that saw the Eagles race out to a commanding 24-0 lead, only to have Warwick rattle off 6 bouts in a row to tie it 24-24! Both teams traded pins at 145 & 152…ending in a 30-30 TIE! So we went to criteria & Warwick pulled out the 31-30 win on the strength of winning 7 bouts on the night compared to Cocalico’s 6! Cocalico stayed unbeaten (5-0) in Section 2 play with a 22-15 Win over Garden Spot! Lady Eagles Senior Danika Sauder scored her 200th Career Goal in the 1st quarter! Spartan Senior Gwen Varley answered with her 200th Goal in the 2nd quarter! Both girls had 9 goals each in the game, which is a season high for both!
