The Crusaders were up big in the first quarter, until a little known player named Chase Krall entered the game! Thriller of a game between Elco & Manheim Central girls!?? Went down to the wire but Elco escapes Manheim with the 54-53 victory! Maddie Knier was spectacular with 28 points, but Elco had 3 players in double figures... Kailey Eckhart (16), Ashley Yoh & Amanda Smith (14)! Smith hit the game-winner with 10 seconds left! Cocalico won their 4th game in a row after knocking off Garden Spot 4-0! Chloe Martin had a pair of goals (2’ & 12’) for the Lady Eagles, just missing out on a hat trick! Juliana Gervase & Emma Strunk each added goals! Cocalico is now 1-0-1 in Section 2 (their new home this year… they are defending Section 3 champs)
