Manheim Central grabbed their 1st Win of the season 40-24 over Cocalico in another Great Section 2 Showdown! Upper weights started off strong for the Barons with Falls from Noah Templin at 189, Brodie Daugherty at 215, & Jason Dougherty at 285! Eagles fought back at the lighterweights, but Central’s Cody Hess (160) & AJ Hondru (172) slammed the door for the Baron Win!
The 2A District 3 Boys Lacrosse Championship came down to a pair of Lancaster-Lebanon League teams vying for the title… #3 Lampeter-Strasburg & #1 Cocalico! Despite being 0-2 against Cocalico this season... LS proved 3rd time was the charm as the Pioneers knocked off the Eagles 15-10 to win their 1st District 3 Title in Boys Lacrosse History!

It was a Battle of former Section 1 foes & heated Rivals in the L-L League as Hempfield & Warwick squared off in the L-L League Semifinals! Black Knights had the advantage on the boards & used it, knocking off Warwick again…52-48! Tate Landis led all scorers with 17pts; Carter Horst had 11! Cole Overbaugh had 12pts for Hempfield! Cocalico and Manheim Central were locked in a tight ballgame that came down to the final innings... as the Lady Barons rallied to win 5-4! Cocalico took the early 3-0 lead, with runs by Kira Lehman, Gretchen Showalter & Clarissa Lockman... but Central plated 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd with a 2 RBI single from Abbi Logan! Lady Barons would take the 4-3 lead in the 4th & tack on another run in the 5th! Cocalico cut it to 5-4 late, but could not plate the tying run! Riley Hostetter got the win in the circle for Manheim Central!
