Warwick and Manheim Central braved the elements for a non-league showdown in L-L Softball! Warwick came away with the victory 11-2 over Central! Warriors jumped out to an early 4-0 lead & tacked on more to lead it 8-0 after 3 innings! Warwick's Mackenzie Ellis, Sophia Steffy & Sophie Smutz each had a pair of hits & runs to get the Offense going! Warriors Pitching Ace Kate Shaak (7 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 13 K) went the distance for her 37th Career Win! Central’s Kayleigh Detz had a triple & a single (her courtesy runner scored both runs)... Abbi Logan had a pair of RBI singles!
L-L Wrestling: Cocalico vs. Warwick (1-19-22)
?WHAT A MATCH? Cocalico & Warwick wrestled an intense Section 1 match that saw the Eagles race out to a commanding 24-0 lead, only to have Warwick rattle off 6 bouts in a row to tie it 24-24! Both teams traded pins at 145 & 152…ending in a 30-30 TIE! So we went to criteria & Warwick pulled out the 31-30 win on the strength of winning 7 bouts on the night compared to Cocalico’s 6! Atlantic League Baseball: Charleston vs. Lancaster (8-2-23)
Lancaster Barnstormers picked up a much needed Win over Charleston with a 4-3 victory in Game #2 of the series! Stormers are trying to keep pace with the red-hot York Revolution & Southern Maryland Blue Crabs in the North Division!
