Baseball: Garden Spot vs. Cocalico (5-2-24)
Garden Spot knocked off Cocalico 8-0… earning a much needed win for their League playoff hopes, which kept them in pace with Manheim Central for the 2nd spot in Section 3! Spartans also won the season series 2-1 vs. the Eagles!
🔹Spartan pitcher Ryder Hertzler threw 6 scoreless innings... with 2 hits & 11 K’s! He had a no-hit bid busted up in the 5th! Teammate Connor Manning came in to preserve the shutout!

For the 1st time since 1991, Ephrata Girls Basketball will play for an L-L League Title ? Lady Mounts punched their ticket with a 37-35 OT Win over Section 1 Champ Penn Manor! INCREDIBLE finish! Jasmine Griffin had a Game-High 17pts; scored her 1,000th point! Brynn Adams had 10, including a buzzer-beating 3pter to force Overtime! 3A District 3 Girls Soccer Playoffs: Semifinals – #10 Manheim Central vs. #3 Cocalico (10-28-24)
Cocalico punched their ticket back to the 3A Championship Game with a 2-0 win over Manheim Central! Liv Smith got the Lady Eagles on the scoreboard in the 75th minute... followed by Kira Lehman's Goal 3 minutes later!
-- Not only is Cocalico playing for another District 3 Title on Thursday, October 31... they have also qualified for States in back to back seasons! #10 Manheim Central has to win the 3rd place game at home against #12 Palmyra on Thursday, October 31 to make States!
