The Crusaders were up big in the first quarter, until a little known player named Chase Krall entered the game! Manheim Central rallied late in the game to take Round 1 against Cocalico… 4-3! Barons exploded for 3 runs in the 6th inning, capped off by Ky Watson’s RBI 1b! Trevor Lowe picked up the Win! 6A District 3 Girl’s Basketball: Governor Mifflin vs. Ephrata (3-4-21)
Thursday’s 6A District 3 Girl' Quarterfinal between Governor Mifflin & Ephrata turned into a 3pt shooting contest AND the Mustangs won big...57-33! Sr. Jocelyn Grosch had 14 points (4-3’s); Sr. Stella Mollica scored her 1,000th point on a three-pointer! For the Lady Mounts, Brynn Adams had 12 points (4-3’s)! Check out the highlights...
Softball: Cocalico vs. Manheim Central (4-23-25)
Cocalico and Manheim Central were locked in a tight ballgame that came down to the final innings... as the Lady Barons rallied to win 5-4! Cocalico took the early 3-0 lead, with runs by Kira Lehman, Gretchen Showalter & Clarissa Lockman... but Central plated 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd with a 2 RBI single from Abbi Logan! Lady Barons would take the 4-3 lead in the 4th & tack on another run in the 5th! Cocalico cut it to 5-4 late, but could not plate the tying run! Riley Hostetter got the win in the circle for Manheim Central!
District 3 Boys Volleyball Playoffs: 2A Semifinals – #4 Linville Hill Christian vs. #1 Manheim Central (5-27-25)
#1 Manheim Central punched their ticket back to the 2A Championship Game after beating #4 Linville Hill Christian 3-0 in the District 3 Semifinals! Central’s Reagan Miller had 13 kills, followed by Landon Mattiace with 10! Dylan Musser had a whopping 41 assists to go along with 3 solo blocks & 1 ace!
