PIAA State Field Hockey Playoffs: 2A Semifinals – Palmyra vs. Warwick (11-12-24)

?WHAT A MATCH? Cocalico & Warwick wrestled an intense Section 1 match that saw the Eagles race out to a commanding 24-0 lead, only to have Warwick rattle off 6 bouts in a row to tie it 24-24! Both teams traded pins at 145 & 152…ending in a 30-30 TIE! So we went to criteria & Warwick pulled out the 31-30 win on the strength of winning 7 bouts on the night compared to Cocalico’s 6! Lampeter-Strasburg & Manheim Central squared off for the 3rd time this year… this time in the L-L League Semifinals! While both offenses were sizzlin…including each squad hitting 11-3pters… it was LS getting the win again, 75-68! Ty Burton was sensational, had a Season High 33 points for Lampeter-Strasburg! Trey Grube led the Barons with 26 points; Judd Novak had 22! Check out these highlights...

Cocalico makes it 5 wins in a row beating Solanco 42-24! Cocalico's Dane Horning (1 TD), Brayden Eppinette (2 TD's) & Josh Myer (3 TD's) combined for nearly 500 rushing yards!

Ephrata WON its 11th straight with a 58-50 victory over Conestoga Valley! Four Lady Mounts scored in double figures… Marie McCracken (15pts); Leah Caldwell (14pts); Alyssa Caldwell (13pts) & Emily Bender (11pts)! Azailya Washington scored a Season-High 23 points for the Buckskins, but it wasn’t enough as Ephrata hit 11 of 13 free throws in the 4th quarter!

🔸Ephrata (8-0) padded their lead in Section 2 over Conestoga Valley (6-2) winning both matchups this year!
