PIAA State Field Hockey Playoffs: 2A Semifinals – Palmyra vs. Warwick (11-12-24)

🚨Warwick WILL PLAY for a PIAA State Championship🚨

The Warriors punched their ticket to the 2A State Title Game after beating District 3 powerhouse Palmyra 1-0 in the 2A Semifinals! Calli Martin had the game-winner (ONLY GOAL) for Warwick in the 3rd quarter off a penalty corner!

▪️ It’s Warwick’s 1st trip back to the PIAA Finals since 2011! They will try to win the 4th State Title (1987, 1999, 2000) in program history on Saturday, November 16 at 1pm against another District 3 foe… Northern York! (Warwick beat Northern York 4-1 in the 2024 District 3 Finals)

Wrestling: Warwick vs. Manheim Central (12/18/24)

In one of the most EXCITING & entertaining wrestling matches of the year… Warwick knocked off Manheim Central 39-27 for their first win of the season! The Warriors took an early 14-0 lead over the Barons with wins at 121, 127, & 133! But Central dug themselves out of a big hole with pins from AJ Hondru (172), Noah Templin (189), & Brodie Daugherty (FFT-215) to lead it 27-23! However, Julian Rodriguez’s pin at 285 catapulted Warwick back into the lead and the Warriors finished strong for the victory!

Girls Basketball: Manheim Central vs. Conestoga Valley (1-23-24)

Conestoga Valley powered their way to a 31-26 victory over Manheim Central, thanks to a STRONG 4th quarter! CV outscored the Lady Barons 18-10… Tia Logan had 9 of her team high 11 points in the 4th quarter! Maddie Gehman scored a game high 13 points for Manheim Central in the loss!
