PIAA State Field Hockey Playoffs: 2A Semifinals – Palmyra vs. Warwick (11-12-24)

#7 Cocalico won 42-21 in the 1st Round of 5A District 3 Playoffs against #10 Hershey! Dane Horning had 2 rushing TD’s… Josh Myer added 3 more TD’s on the ground… but it was the punt block by Jerry McArdle & TD recovery by Thomas Dattoli that swung the game for Cocalico! Eagles have now won 8 straight District 3 Playoffs games, dating back to 2022!

Manheim Central knocked off rival Cocalico in Week 10... 42-20 on the strength of a HUGE 2nd half! Barons outscored the Eagles 35-6 in the 3rd & 4th quarters! In doing so, Manheim Central finished 9-1 overall AND forced a 3-way tie for the Section 2 Title! Warwick, Manheim Central and Cocalico with split the trophy this year! In the final Barnstormers broadcast on Blue Ridge 11 TV this Summer... Lancaster helped out their 1st place crusade with a 7-2 WIN over Spire City! Stormers got a solid outting on the mound from Brent Teller (6 IP, 4 H, 2 ER) & a 4-4 day at the plate from Shawon Dunston Jr.!

Cocalico held on for another close win in Section 2 beating Garden Spot 63-60! Both teams made a mad dash for the finish line, combining for 44 points in the 4th quarter! By the way, Eagles are 2-0 in Section 2!
