Another stellar L-L League Wrestling Championship in the books! Here’s a look at the sights and sounds from the days’ action from Manheim Township HS!

🔹Conestoga Valley won the boys team title after they sent 6 wrestlers to the Finals, winning 5 🥇 Ephrata finished 4th, Manheim Central 6th, Cocalico 9th, Warwick 11th & Garden Spot 17th! On the girls side, JP McCaskey won the team title over Hempfield, with Warwick finishing 7th as our only local school with a girls team!

▪️Congrats to Northern Lebanon’s Aaron Seidel who joined the 4X League Champion Club winning at 133lbs!

Great matchup between Ephrata and Cocalico girls ⚽️ in the “Backyard Brawl”… the ONLY meeting this season! But despite both teams’ Best effort… neither Offense scored against the other’s Defense! Highly competitive High School Boys Lacrosse game between Garden Spot & Ephrata! Spartans won a back & forth contest that saw the Mounts lead 3-1 after the 1st qt, then the Spartans grabbed a 7-4 halftime lead only to watch Ephrata close it to 8-7 after 3 quarters! L-L Girl’s Basketball Playoffs (Finals): Lancaster Catholic vs Ephrata (2-17-22)

The magical run for Ephrata Girls Basketball came to an end in the Finals of the L-L League Tournament! Lancaster Catholic knocked off the Lady Mounts 58-43 to claim their RECORD 16th L-L League Title ?? Lady Mounts' Jasmine Griffin led all scorers with 23 points, but it was Jeriyah Johnson & Rylee Kraft combining for 32 points in the Crusader win! Here's our Championship Game recap...
