Another stellar L-L League Wrestling Championship in the books! Here’s a look at the sights and sounds from the days’ action from Manheim Township HS!

🔹Conestoga Valley won the boys team title after they sent 6 wrestlers to the Finals, winning 5 🥇 Ephrata finished 4th, Manheim Central 6th, Cocalico 9th, Warwick 11th & Garden Spot 17th! On the girls side, JP McCaskey won the team title over Hempfield, with Warwick finishing 7th as our only local school with a girls team!

▪️Congrats to Northern Lebanon’s Aaron Seidel who joined the 4X League Champion Club winning at 133lbs!

3A District 3 Girls Soccer Playoffs: Semifinals – #10 Manheim Central vs. #3 Cocalico (10-28-24)

Cocalico punched their ticket back to the 3A Championship Game with a 2-0 win over Manheim Central! Liv Smith got the Lady Eagles on the scoreboard in the 75th minute... followed by Kira Lehman's Goal 3 minutes later!

-- Not only is Cocalico playing for another District 3 Title on Thursday, October 31... they have also qualified for States in back to back seasons! #10 Manheim Central has to win the 3rd place game at home against #12 Palmyra on Thursday, October 31 to make States!

Manheim Central gets the WIN & the Section 3 Title after knocking off rival Cocalico... 56-27! It’s the Lady Barons’ 1st Section Trophy since 2012 (they will share it with Lampeter-Strasburg this year) Maddie Knier led all scorers with 23pts, Abbie Reed had 13… Teagan Sahm led Cocalico with 16pts! L-L Boy’s Basketball Playoffs (1st Rd.): Lancaster Mennonite vs Manheim Central (2-11-22)
