L-L Girl’s Basketball: Hempfield vs. Warwick (1-14-22)

In a matchup of former Section 2 rivals, Warwick & Cocalico squared off in Week 1 of the 2022 High School Football Season!! Eagles came away with the win… 42-27! Warriors led it early 14-0, but Cocalico rallied in a big way & went on a 42-6 run to seal the win! Check out the highlights here…

In a battle of Section 3 Rivals & Title contenders ⚾️? Cocalico took an early 2-0 lead, but Manheim Central pulled ahead 5-3 & stretched it out late to a 13-3 (6 inn.) Win! Barons ace Connor Rohrer went 5 innings strong, struck out 8! Central starts out 2-0... the Eagles fall to 1-2! Check out the highlights...

Cocalico won its 4th straight game, taking down Section 2 foe Warwick… 38-31! Kira Lehman led all scorers with 17 points for the Lady Eagles! Brielle Martin chipped in a Career High 8 points to help Cocalico pad their lead! Warwick was led by Reese Jeanes, who had 9 points, all on 3-pointers!

Manheim Central caught fire in the 2nd half against Garden Spot, pulling away for the 70-49 victory! Barons are 2-0 in Section 2 play; 7-2 overall!
