L-L Girl’s Basketball: Hempfield vs. Warwick (1-14-22)

Hempfield Boys Volleyball makes a statement as they sweep Warwick 3-0, ending the Warriors unbeaten record! Black Knights also forced a tie atop the Section 1 standings! Both teams have now won on their home courts... if they win out, Warwick & Hempfield will share the title! Will we see a Round #3? For the 3rd time in 4 years, Warwick Boys ? is off to the L-L League Semifinals! Warriors knocked off Section 5 Champ Columbia… 59-49! Avery Sapp led all scorers with 16pts; Tate Landis/Carter Horst/Trevor Evans had 11 each! Check out these highlights…

Barons go BACK TO BACK 🏆🏆

For the 2nd year in a row, Manheim Central wins the L-L League Boys 🏐 Title, beating Warwick again in a rematch of last year’s Final… 3-1!

▪️Warriors took Game 1… 25-19! But Central stormed back with 3 unanswered games (25-21, 25-22, 25-16)! Reagan Miller & Landon Mattiace had 16 & 15 kills respectively for the Barons! Kyle Charles led Warwick with 23 kills!

-- District 3 Playoffs begin May 21! Both Warwick (3A) and Manheim Central (2A) are top 3 in both brackets!

Warwick WINS 9-0 in their 6A State Semifinals showdown with Cumberland Valley (2nd time Warwick has beaten CV in the postseason… walked it off in the 6A District 3 Semis 9-8)! Seth Adomnik threw a 1-hit shutout for the Warriors…the batting lineup did the rest, hammering out double-digit hits with a couple Home Runs thrown in!

The Warriors make the State Finals for the FIRST time in program history & will face District 11 Champ Liberty at Penn State's Medlar Field on Thursday, June 16 at 4:30pm on PCN TV!
