Girls Basketball: Ephrata vs. Cocalico (12-22-22)

The Lady Mounts improved to 6-0 after they beat Cocalico 32-19 in this year’s “Backyard Brawl”! It’s Ephrata’s BEST start to a season in almost 2 Decades! Jasmine Griffin led all scorers with 17 points, which moved her into 2nd All-Time in Ephrata history with 1,164 points (at the time)!

Ephrata collected another rivalry win to start the season 2-0! Mounts took down Warwick 10-4 & beat Cocalico 4-0 on Friday, March 24! The top 4 hitters for the Mounts went 5-9 with 6 walks & 9 runs scored, including Coy Schwanger’s surprise steal of home!

Boys Soccer: Garden Spot vs. Manheim Central (9-19-24)

Garden Spot’s Trey Dwyer put his goal scoring prowess on display against Manheim Central! Early in the 1st, Dwyer put the Spartans ahead 1-0 with a header off a corner kick & scored again just minutes into the 2nd half! He’s got 13 goals for the season! Central’s Aiden Beck slammed home a goal with 5 minutes left in the game, but the Barons ran out of time... falling 2-1 to Garden Spot!

5A District 3 Boys Basketball Playoffs (1st Rd.): Donegal vs. Warwick (2-20-23)

#5 Warwick knocked off #12 Donegal... 62-38 to advance to the 5A District 3 Quarterfinals on Thursday! The Warriors drained 10 - 3pters... Caleb Johnsen had 4 of them for 16 points! Other Warriors in double figures - Ya'Majesty Washington (12pts), Tyree Hughes (11pts), Carter Horst & Trevor Evans (10pts each)!

-- Warwick will play at #4 Mechanicsburg on Thursday, February 23 in the 5A Quarterfinals! The Warriors NOT ONLY are GUARANTEED 4 games in Districts, BUT they have also clinched a berth into States for the 2nd straight year!
