L-L Baseball: Elizabethtown vs. Ephrata (4-28-21)

Cocalico jumped out to an early 3-0 lead at halftime against Donegal! Lady Eagles went onto win this one 5-0, in the 1st EVER playoff meeting between these L-L League foes! Chloe Martin (Cocalico's leading scorer) netted 2 goals... while Kira Lehman, Brielle Martin & Liv Smith also added goals! Cocalico punched their ticket back to the District 3 Semifinals in back to back seasons (2024 & 2023... only time in program history that's happened)

▪️ 3A District 3 Girls Soccer Semifinals: #3 Cocalico hosts Section 2 RIVAL #10 Manheim Central - Monday, October 28 (Talon Field - 7pm) 

Ephrata (10-1) clinched at least a share of the Section 2 title with a 30-17 win over Warwick! Lady Mounts can claim it outright with a win on Senior Night... Thursday, February 8 vs. Elizabethtown!

🔸Alyssa Caldwell (Fr.) had 9pts to lead Ephrata! Marie McCracken (So.) had 8pts & Leah Caldwell (So.) added 6pts!

▪️Bella Smithson (Sr.) had 6pts for Warwick!

It was a Battle of former Section 1 foes & heated Rivals in the L-L League as Hempfield & Warwick squared off in the L-L League Semifinals! Black Knights had the advantage on the boards & used it, knocking off Warwick again…52-48! Tate Landis led all scorers with 17pts; Carter Horst had 11! Cole Overbaugh had 12pts for Hempfield! In Game 2 of the L-L League 🏐 Semifinals, Cocalico made Warwick work for the victory… stealing Game 4 (30-28)! But the Warriors ultimately won 3-1 over the Eagles to punch their ticket back to the League Finals for the 4th straight year! Kyle Charles had 23 kills in the win!
