What a clash between fantastic 5A Girls Basketball squads! Cocalico & Gettysburg left it all out on the court! We saw 3’s...stellar defense & even a career milestone! In the end, Gettysburg advanced 44-39! Cocalico Senior Izzy Mack led the team 12 points (4-3’s)! Senior Hannah Custer had 8! A great season for Cocalico ends at 16-4, with a Section 3 Title! Cocalico won their 4th game in a row after knocking off Garden Spot 4-0! Chloe Martin had a pair of goals (2’ & 12’) for the Lady Eagles, just missing out on a hat trick! Juliana Gervase & Emma Strunk each added goals! Cocalico is now 1-0-1 in Section 2 (their new home this year… they are defending Section 3 champs)

🔹Lady Eagles are unbeaten in their last 5 games, having tied Warwick 1-1 back on August 30!

In a battle of Section 2 Title contenders... Ephrata knocked off Warwick 31-21! Lady Mounts and Warriors are both 4-1 in Section Play, looking up at Manheim Central (5-0)

Jasmine Griffin (Eph) led all scores with 14pts; Leah Caldwell (Eph) had 9! Bella Smithson (War) had 11pts!

The rematch is Tuesday, February 7 at Warwick HS!
