Manheim Central beat Cocalico 2-1 in a late season Section 2 showdown, with lots of playoff implications on the line!
🔹First quarter, Cocalico’s Maggie Allen scored quickly, followed soon after by a Lady Barons goal from Brooke Nelson! Action remained intense into the 3rd quarter, when Central’s Ella Brubaker scored the eventual game winner off a powerful strike from Paige Garner!

Boys Soccer: Garden Spot vs. Manheim Central (9-19-24)
Garden Spot’s Trey Dwyer put his goal scoring prowess on display against Manheim Central! Early in the 1st, Dwyer put the Spartans ahead 1-0 with a header off a corner kick & scored again just minutes into the 2nd half! He’s got 13 goals for the season! Central’s Aiden Beck slammed home a goal with 5 minutes left in the game, but the Barons ran out of time... falling 2-1 to Garden Spot!
5A State Boys Basketball Playoffs (1st Rd): Mars vs. Manheim Central (3-10-23)
Manheim Central’s fantastic season (22-7) came to an end in the 1st round of the 5A State Playoffs! Mars knocked the Barons out of States with a 61-49 victory! Trey Grube led Manheim Central with 18 points... Aaron Enterline had 14!
