Girls Basketball: Manheim Central vs. Cocalico (12/17/24)

Warwick Baseball started the week off strong with a 16-6 WIN (5inn.) over JP McCaskey! Ethan Zipko goes the distance on the mound for his 1st win of the season! Chase Martin slugged 2 home runs & drove in 5 runs!

In our first High School baseball game of the Spring, Manheim Central jumped out to a big lead & held on for the 6-5 win over Cocalico! Barons Colton Book had a 3-run HR in the 1st! SP Connor Rohrer gets the Win; had 6 K’s! Also need to give a shoutout to Cocalico Freshman pitcher Trent Dickson, who threw 5 shutout innings in relief, gave up just 1 hit to a potent Barons lineup! In one of the most EXCITING & entertaining wrestling matches of the year… Warwick knocked off Manheim Central 39-27 for their first win of the season! The Warriors took an early 14-0 lead over the Barons with wins at 121, 127, & 133! But Central dug themselves out of a big hole with pins from AJ Hondru (172), Noah Templin (189), & Brodie Daugherty (FFT-215) to lead it 27-23! However, Julian Rodriguez’s pin at 285 catapulted Warwick back into the lead and the Warriors finished strong for the victory!

Manheim Township cruises back into the L-L League Championship Game, where they are the 2-time defending champs, after a 3-0 win against Warwick in the League Semifinals! Liv Parmer scored twice for the Blue Streaks & Jordan Nguyen added onto her team lead in goal scoring as well!
