Thriller of a game between Elco & Manheim Central girls!?? Went down to the wire but Elco escapes Manheim with the 54-53 victory! Maddie Knier was spectacular with 28 points, but Elco had 3 players in double figures... Kailey Eckhart (16), Ashley Yoh & Amanda Smith (14)! Smith hit the game-winner with 10 seconds left! Cocalico wins Round 1 of the "Backyard Brawl" beating Ephrata 4-0! Timmy Hambright got the scoring started in the 10th minute off a Cade Upson assist! Then Jordan Wambolt & David Pierdomenico made it 3-0 at halftime! Hambright added a 2nd goal 2 minutes after the break! Eagles win & will face Ephrata again on October 1 in a crucial Section 2 late season showdown!

Warwick put Manheim Township's unbeaten record to the test, surviving the Blue Streak's 19-4 1st quarter lead... but ultimately came up just a few buckets short... losing 51-46! Township Seniors Sarah Kraus & Kaitlyn Musser each put up 12 points to lead the Blue Streaks in scoring! Warwick Senior Sam Shaak scored a Season High 20 points to keep her Warriors within striking distance!

-- Both teams have games on Wednesday, December 20! Warwick at Solanco... Manheim Township at Hempfield! They'll also host their own Holiday Tournaments over the Winter Break!
