With this weeks news that, Lampeter-Strasburg Head Coach, John Manion has announced his retirement, we wanted to give you all a unique perspective on his incredible 23 year run with the Pioneers! So we asked coaching friend & rival, former Cocalico Head Coach, Dave Gingrich to share his thoughts on Coach Manion. Give it a watch.

Cocalico jumped out to an early 3-0 lead at halftime against Donegal! Lady Eagles went onto win this one 5-0, in the 1st EVER playoff meeting between these L-L League foes! Chloe Martin (Cocalico's leading scorer) netted 2 goals... while Kira Lehman, Brielle Martin & Liv Smith also added goals! Cocalico punched their ticket back to the District 3 Semifinals in back to back seasons (2024 & 2023... only time in program history that's happened)

▪️ 3A District 3 Girls Soccer Semifinals: #3 Cocalico hosts Section 2 RIVAL #10 Manheim Central - Monday, October 28 (Talon Field - 7pm) 

GOLDEN GOAL! Conestoga Valley netted the Game Winner in the 89th minute of Overtime, beating previously undefeated Warwick 1-0! Nate Showvaker played the hero putting back a rebound shot off a corner kick! Check out the game recap here…

Cocalico punched their ticket back to the 3A Championship Game with a 2-0 win over Manheim Central! Liv Smith got the Lady Eagles on the scoreboard in the 75th minute... followed by Kira Lehman's Goal 3 minutes later!

-- Not only is Cocalico playing for another District 3 Title on Thursday, October 31... they have also qualified for States in back to back seasons! #10 Manheim Central has to win the 3rd place game at home against #12 Palmyra on Thursday, October 31 to make States!
