Baseball: Manheim Central vs. Ephrata (5-2-25)

Mounts WALKED IT OFF 3-2 over Manheim Central in a WILD ending to a fast-paced, close game! Barons took the early lead with 2 runs in the 3rd inning, but the Mounts answered back with 2 runs in the 4th inning! After 7 full innings, the game was tied 2-2… so we went extra innings! Ephrata loaded the bases bottom of the 8th inning & on a full count, Ethan Hunt took off for home… the pitch hit JD Muhr and Ephrata Won in dramatic fashion! — Camryn Simes (7-0) came away with the Win in relief for Ephrata!

District 3 Volleyball Playoffs: 2A Quarterfinals – #8 Northern Lebanon vs. #1 Manheim Central (5-22-25)

#1 Manheim Central took care of business in the 2A Quarterfinals, advancing onto the next round with a 3-0 Win (25-11, 25-13, 25-13) over #8 Northern Lebanon! It was the 3rd time beating the Vikings this season, who are Section 2 foes of the Barons! Reagan Miller led Central with 11 kills, followed by Landon Mattiace with 9 & Blake Neiles with 6! Dylan Musser had 28 assists in the match!

Warwick got strong efforts by the Offense & Defense in a 35-12 Win over Avon Grove! Warriors stormed out to a 28-0 lead at the half & held off a late rally by the Sun Devils to get the victory!

🔹 Senior QB Thomas Myers threw 3 TD’s in the season opener, while RB Heath Schnipke found the end zone twice! DB Asher Willard hauled in 2 interceptions as Warwick earned Win #1 of the 2025 Season!
