Baseball: Conestoga Valley vs. Ephrata (5-4-22)

In our first High School baseball game of the Spring, Manheim Central jumped out to a big lead & held on for the 6-5 win over Cocalico! Barons Colton Book had a 3-run HR in the 1st! SP Connor Rohrer gets the Win; had 6 K’s! Also need to give a shoutout to Cocalico Freshman pitcher Trent Dickson, who threw 5 shutout innings in relief, gave up just 1 hit to a potent Barons lineup! Warwick came ready to play in the PIAA State Playoffs… beating Radnor 4-1 in the 2A First Round! Calli Martin led the Warriors with 2 Goals; Karys Craver & Bree Zoccolo also added goals! Great night in goal for Senior GK Taryn Toburen as well!

◾️Warwick advanced to the 2A Quarterfinals & beat fellow District 3 squad Hershey 4-1 on Saturday, November 9!

Garden Spot’s Trey Dwyer put his goal scoring prowess on display against Manheim Central! Early in the 1st, Dwyer put the Spartans ahead 1-0 with a header off a corner kick & scored again just minutes into the 2nd half! He’s got 13 goals for the season! Central’s Aiden Beck slammed home a goal with 5 minutes left in the game, but the Barons ran out of time... falling 2-1 to Garden Spot!
