Manheim Central picked up a 7-2 win over Section 3 rival Cocalico, sweeping the season series 3-0! Central’s Cam Thompson went 3-3 with 5 RBI! Senior pitcher Cael Martin got the Win! ◾️Barons punched their ticket to the L-L League Playoffs (2nd place in Sec. 3) on Thursday, May 9 & will face Section 1 Champ Hempfield at 4:15pm!

It’s the Lady Barons’ 1st Section Trophy since 2012 (they will share it with Lampeter-Strasburg this year) Maddie Knier led all scorers with 23pts, Abbie Reed had 13… Teagan Sahm led Cocalico with 16pts! Conestoga Valley kept their UNDEFEATED season alive beating Shippensburg 35-24 in the 5A District 3 Quarterfinals! CV equaled the program’s Best start to a season at 11-0, tied with the 1985 Buckskins! CV’s Isaiah Sensenig ran the opening kickoff back 88 yards for a TD! Buckskins had 4 other rushing touchdowns in the game (Teagan Ruble - 2; Jayden Johnson - 1; Sawyer Esbenshade - 1) Conestoga Valley advanced to the District 3 Semifinals for the first time since 2000!
