?WALK…OFF…WIN…AGAIN? For the 2nd time this week, Manheim Central baseball wins in walk-off fashion in the 5A District 3 Playoffs! Barons won 2-1 over Red Land as Nolan Book drove in Mason Weaver, Bottom of the 7th for the Game-Winner! Barons are into the 5A Semifinals on Tuesday, May 31 at Manheim Central Middle School - 4:30pm!

Manheim Central knocked off rival Cocalico in Week 10... 42-20 on the strength of a HUGE 2nd half! Barons outscored the Eagles 35-6 in the 3rd & 4th quarters! In doing so, Manheim Central finished 9-1 overall AND forced a 3-way tie for the Section 2 Title! Warwick, Manheim Central and Cocalico with split the trophy this year! Warwick and Manheim Central braved the elements for a non-league showdown in L-L Softball! Warwick came away with the victory 11-2 over Central! Warriors jumped out to an early 4-0 lead & tacked on more to lead it 8-0 after 3 innings! Warwick's Mackenzie Ellis, Sophia Steffy & Sophie Smutz each had a pair of hits & runs to get the Offense going! Warriors Pitching Ace Kate Shaak (7 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 13 K) went the distance for her 37th Career Win! Central’s Kayleigh Detz had a triple & a single (her courtesy runner scored both runs)... Abbi Logan had a pair of RBI singles!
