Atlantice League Baseball: Long Island vs. Lancaster (6-4-23)

Hempfield & Warwick's "Championship Clash" in the L-L Boys Volleyball Final was another classic match in this rivalry series! The Warriors and Black Knights left it all out on the court, battling for each and every point, but it was Hempfield who earned their 24th League Title with a 3-1 win over Warwick! Manheim Central and Cocalico wrestled a WHOPPER of a match as the Section 2 Title was on the line for the Barons! It was back & forth all night... but Central sent out their Hammer, Brett Barbush to seal it with a pin at 160lbs! Barons won 32-30 & moved to 6-0 in Section 2 with one match remaining against Donegal on January 25!

Lampeter-Strasburg Girls got a quality road win over Section 3 foe Cocalico... 39-30! Sr. Kiersten Hostetter led the Pioneers with 16 points! Erin Henry & Teagan Sahm each had 9 points for the Lady Eagles! Here’s the highlights from the game...

Cocalico Head Coach Bryan Strohl & several of his players sat down with us at this year's football media day, held at the LNP Downtown Lancaster headquarters! Last year, the Eagles made it back to back 5A District 3 Championships... BUT came up 2 yards short in the State Semifinals! Now they look to replace a ton of Senior leadership heading into the 2024 Season! Hear how Cocalico plans to do that with a different group of guys!
