What a clash between fantastic 5A Girls Basketball squads! Cocalico & Gettysburg left it all out on the court! We saw 3’s...stellar defense & even a career milestone! In the end, Gettysburg advanced 44-39! Cocalico Senior Izzy Mack led the team 12 points (4-3’s)! Senior Hannah Custer had 8! A great season for Cocalico ends at 16-4, with a Section 3 Title! For the 2nd year in a row… Garden Spot handed the Ephrata Mounts a tough loss… this time pulling out a close one 24-21! Spartans move to 3-0 in Section 3 play & 5-1 overall, boosting their already strong 5A District 3 ranking ?? Mounts dropped to 1-2 in Section 3... 3-3 overall!

Manheim Central took Round #1 of the Section 2 Showdown with Ephrata... 31-17! Lady Mounts jumped out to an early 7-0 lead, but Central clamped down defensively & finished the game on a 31-10 run!

-- Jasmine Griffin (Eph) was held to a season-low 5 points
