Lancaster Stormers busted out of a slump, beating Staten Island 13-4 in the first game of their series this week! Stormers got home runs from Shawon Dunston Jr., Justin Farmer & Damon Dues… plus, 5 RBI from Joseph Carpenter! All for of those guys combined for 13 RBI… starter Noah Bremer got the win, going 6 innings, giving up 9 hits and just 2 runs!
Ephrata Girls won their 2nd straight L-L Playoff game, downing Section 3 Co-Champ Manheim Central 36-33! Lady Barons' Maddie Knier led all scorers with 14pts, Rachel Nolt added 12! Coming into Week 10, Warwick was in a Win & get help to make the District 3 Playoffs scenario! Warriors took care of the first part, beating Manheim Central 6-3 in a defensive struggle! Reece Harper scored the games only TD with an 11 yard run in the 4th quarter!
