Hempfield denied Warwick a trip to the L-L League Finals with a 49-43 win! Black Knights outscored the Warriors 13-6 in the 4th quarter to get the W! Hempfield is into the L-L Championship for the 3rd year in a row, where they will face Section 2 Champ, Manheim Central, on Friday at 7pm!

— Warwick’s next game is Monday, February 20 in the District 3 Playoffs… they will host Donegal at 7pm!

5A District 3 Softball Playoffs: 1st Rd. – Ephrata vs. Manheim Central (5-22-23)

An absolute CLASSIC District 3 Playoff softball game! #9 Ephrata & #8 Manheim Central traded runs & Momentum each inning, putting on a THRILLING show for the fans in attendance!

-- Lady Mounts led early 3-2... Lady Barons fought back to make it 4-4!

-- Ephrata re-took the lead 8-4 in the 6th... Central stormed back to tie it 8-8!

-- Ephrata answered right back in the 7th with 8 runs... 16-8!

-- Bottom 7th, Central clawed back to make it 16-14, but the rally ended short there!

-- Ephrata advanced to the 5A Quarterfinals on Thursday, May 25 against #1 Solanco

L-L Girl’s Basketball: Manheim Central vs. Cocalico (2-8-22)

Manheim Central gets the WIN & the Section 3 Title after knocking off rival Cocalico... 56-27! It’s the Lady Barons’ 1st Section Trophy since 2012 (they will share it with Lampeter-Strasburg this year) Maddie Knier led all scorers with 23pts, Abbie Reed had 13… Teagan Sahm led Cocalico with 16pts! Cocalico got a big win Wednesday night in the District 3 Playoffs over Fleetwood 38-33! A team win for the Lady Eagles, as Senior Hannah Custer led Cocalico with 13 points & one major defensive assignment on Fleetwood’s Alexis Hess... a Division 1 recruit!
