Hagerstown mounted a 9th inning comeback against Lancaster & won it 9-8 in 10 innings to avoid a sweep by the Stormers! Lancaster had taken the lead in the 8th inning by scoring 4 runs, sparked by a 2 RBI double by Isan Diaz & a 2 run homer by Mason Martin! But a bench-clearing brawl halted all Stormers momentum & the Flying Boxcars get out of town with a win!

L-L League Football — Week 10 – Warwick vs. Manheim Central (10-25-24)
Coming into Week 10, Warwick was in a Win & get help to make the District 3 Playoffs scenario! Warriors took care of the first part, beating Manheim Central 6-3 in a defensive struggle! Reece Harper scored the games only TD with an 11 yard run in the 4th quarter!
▪️Warwick finished 5-5 overall (4-2 in Section 3) & qualified for Districts as the last time in at #12!
▪️Manheim Central finished 3-7 overall (1-5 in Section 3)... their season is over!
Atlantic League Baseball: Long Island vs. Lancaster (6-30-24)
Lancaster ended June on a winning note… beating Long Island 14-4! Stormers scored 4 runs in the 1st & padded their lead with 7 runs in the 7th inning! Starter Noah Bremer got the Win to improve his record to 6-3! Lancaster took the weekend series from the Ducks (2-1) & won 4 of 6 on the home stand (2-1 vs. Staten Island)!
▪️Against the Ducks, Stormers outscored Long Island 31-14 in the 3 game series!
Boys Lacrosse: Cocalico vs. Ephrata (5-8-24)
The "Backyard Brawl" DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Cocalico & Ephrata both put on a show for the Fans, but it was the Mounts earning the hard-fought 16-13 Win over their crosstown rival Cocalico!

5A District 3 Boys Basketball Playoffs (Championship): Exeter vs. Manheim Central (3-2-23)
And the Gold Medal goes to... the Exeter Eagles, who knocked off #1 Manheim Central 67-53 in the 5A District 3 Championship Game! Barons never really had an answer for 6'7" Anthony Caccese, who had a Game-High 22 points for Exeter! Trey Grube led Central with 19 points & had a pair of 3pters... which moved his L-L Record up to 305 Career 3pters made!
Both Exeter & Manheim Central move onto the PIAA 5A State Tournament on Friday, March 10!
