Ephrata kicked off the 2026 Season going 2-0 in #rivalrygames as the Mounts earned the 17-8 victory over backyard rival Cocalico! Ephrata led it 17-0 at halftime, thanks to a Carson Martin 1yd TD run & an Aaden Shuman 19yd TD run! Cocalico’s Logan Horning put the Eagles on the board with a 4th qt 2yd TD run… But the Mounts hung on for the Win! 🔸It’s the First Win in the “Backyard Brawl” for Ephrata 🏈 since 2010, but the Mounts lead the overall series 32-30!

Cocalico and Manheim Central were locked in a tight ballgame that came down to the final innings... as the Lady Barons rallied to win 5-4! Cocalico took the early 3-0 lead, with runs by Kira Lehman, Gretchen Showalter & Clarissa Lockman... but Central plated 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd with a 2 RBI single from Abbi Logan! Ephrata led from start to finish against Penn Manor in a hard fought 11-8 Win! Mounts went up 6-0 after the 1st quarter, with 5 different Ephrata players contributing on the scoreboard! Once the Comets mounted a comeback, it was up to Tyler Thomas & Parker Snow to close out the victory with Ephrata’s final 5 goals! Mounts have 1 game remaining against Cocalico in the "Backyard Brawl" makeup game set for May 14!
