5A District 3 Football Playoffs: Quarterfinals – #5 Shippensburg vs. #4 Conestoga Valley (11-8-24)

Conestoga Valley kept their UNDEFEATED season alive beating Shippensburg 35-24 in the 5A District 3 Quarterfinals! CV equaled the program’s Best start to a season at 11-0, tied with the 1985 Buckskins! CV’s Isaiah Sensenig ran the opening kickoff back 88 yards for a TD! Buckskins had 4 other rushing touchdowns in the game (Teagan Ruble – 2; Jayden Johnson – 1; Sawyer Esbenshade – 1) Conestoga Valley advanced to the District 3 Semifinals for the first time since 2000!

L-L League Softball Playoffs: Quarterfinals – Manheim Central vs. Warwick (5-11-24)

Section 1 Co-Champ Warwick moved on in the L-L League Tournament after a 7-0 Win over Manheim Central in the Quarterfinal Round! Sr. Bella Smithson smacked a 2-Run HR in the 3rd inning! Warriors tacked on 3 runs late in the game! Pitcher Kate Shaak dominated in the circle… 7 IP, 9 K’s, 4 H, 0 runs!

▪️Warwick, the defending League Champ, plays in the League Semifinals on Monday, May 13 at Millersville University at 7pm!

Boys Basketball: Ephrata vs. Cocalico (12-22-22)

Cocalico ended Ephrata's undefeated season with a 66-58 victory in the "Backyard Brawl"! Eagles Sophomore Camden Ochs had a monster night...23 points; Aaryn Longenecker chipped in 15! Four Mounts scored in double figures but it wasn't enough to complete the comeback... Cocalico grabbed the bragging rights for another year!
