The 2A District 3 Boys Lacrosse Championship came down to a pair of Lancaster-Lebanon League teams vying for the title… #3 Lampeter-Strasburg & #1 Cocalico! Despite being 0-2 against Cocalico this season… LS proved 3rd time was the charm as the Pioneers knocked off the Eagles 15-10 to win their 1st District 3 Title in Boys Lacrosse History!

?WHAT A MATCH? Cocalico & Warwick wrestled an intense Section 1 match that saw the Eagles race out to a commanding 24-0 lead, only to have Warwick rattle off 6 bouts in a row to tie it 24-24! Both teams traded pins at 145 & 152…ending in a 30-30 TIE! So we went to criteria & Warwick pulled out the 31-30 win on the strength of winning 7 bouts on the night compared to Cocalico’s 6! Warwick came ready to play in the PIAA State Playoffs… beating Radnor 4-1 in the 2A First Round! Calli Martin led the Warriors with 2 Goals; Karys Craver & Bree Zoccolo also added goals! Great night in goal for Senior GK Taryn Toburen as well!

Manheim Central stared down another challenger for the Section 2 crown & came away with the 63-51 WIN! Sam Witmer led the Barons with 16 points; Jackson Tracy added 12! Central moves to 9-1 in Section play & stayed ahead of the pack!
