The 2A District 3 Boys Lacrosse Championship came down to a pair of Lancaster-Lebanon League teams vying for the title… #3 Lampeter-Strasburg & #1 Cocalico! Despite being 0-2 against Cocalico this season… LS proved 3rd time was the charm as the Pioneers knocked off the Eagles 15-10 to win their 1st District 3 Title in Boys Lacrosse History!

Cocalico and Manheim Central were locked in a tight ballgame that came down to the final innings... as the Lady Barons rallied to win 5-4! Cocalico took the early 3-0 lead, with runs by Kira Lehman, Gretchen Showalter & Clarissa Lockman... but Central plated 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd with a 2 RBI single from Abbi Logan! Lady Barons would take the 4-3 lead in the 4th & tack on another run in the 5th! Cocalico cut it to 5-4 late, but could not plate the tying run! Riley Hostetter got the win in the circle for Manheim Central!
#3 Cocalico won in comeback fashion 2-1 over #14 Hershey! Lady Eagles trailed 1-0 at the half, but scored twice in the 2nd half to earn the District 3 Playoff victory! Chloe Martin scored in the 59th minute (15 goals: leads team) & Kira Lehman scored 5 minutes later (12 goals) with the eventual game-winner!
#3 Cocalico advanced to the 3A Quarterfinals on Thursday, October 24 where they host #11 Donegal in an All L-L League showdown... LIVE on Blue Ridge 11 TV!Cocalico celebrates Senior Night in a big way by knocking off Warwick 27-21, moving to 4-0 in the Section 2 standings! The Eagles now earn at least a share of the Section 2 Title & face Manheim Central next week for a chance to win it outright! As for the game... it was another huge night on the gridiron for Anthony Bourassa, who smashed his previous career high, churning out 330+ yards on the ground & 2 TD's!
