2A District 3 Boys Lacrosse Playoffs: Finals – Lampeter-Strasburg vs. Cocalico (6-1-23)

?WHAT A MATCH? Cocalico & Warwick wrestled an intense Section 1 match that saw the Eagles race out to a commanding 24-0 lead, only to have Warwick rattle off 6 bouts in a row to tie it 24-24! Both teams traded pins at 145 & 152…ending in a 30-30 TIE! So we went to criteria & Warwick pulled out the 31-30 win on the strength of winning 7 bouts on the night compared to Cocalico’s 6! In a “Battle of the Unbeatens” early in the Section 2 season, Manheim Central took Cocalico’s Best shot but handed the Eagles their first loss of the year… 3-1 (25-14, 23-25, 25-22, 27-25)! Reagan Miller had a big day for the Barons with 21 kills & 2 huge aces in Game 4! Cocalico’s Colson Hildebrand had 14 kills for the Eagles!

🔹Round 2 is at Cocalico on Thursday, April 24… By the way, Manheim Central is ranked #2 in AA in the State!

What a Fantastic High School Boys Volleyball matchup between Manheim Central & Cocalico! Eagles jumped out to a 2-1 lead on their home court, but the Barons stormed back to win games 4 & 5, taking this Section 2 Showdown 3-2!
