2A District 3 Boys Lacrosse Playoffs: Finals – Lampeter-Strasburg vs. Cocalico (6-1-23)

Manheim Central knocked off rival Cocalico in Week 10... 42-20 on the strength of a HUGE 2nd half! Barons outscored the Eagles 35-6 in the 3rd & 4th quarters! In doing so, Manheim Central finished 9-1 overall AND forced a 3-way tie for the Section 2 Title! Warwick, Manheim Central and Cocalico with split the trophy this year! Manheim Township won the 2022 L-L League Baseball Championship… their first since 2006! Blue Streaks knocked off Ephrata 11-2! JT Weaver throws a 3-hitter, gets the Win!

Ephrata is back in action next week in the 5A District 3 Playoffs facing off against #13 Waynesboro in the 1st Rd. on Monday, May 23 at 5:30pm!

In a rained-soaked game, Warwick boys kept it close at the half… 2-2, but Cocalico turned it on in the 2nd half to win 11-3! Eagles scored 8 unanswered goals after the break to blow the game wide open! Eagles start the season 4-0!

-- Andrew Digman had 3 goals for Cocalico, Brady Gallagher added 2 goals!

Ephrata Girls won their 2nd straight L-L Playoff game, downing Section 3 Co-Champ Manheim Central 36-33! Lady Barons' Maddie Knier led all scorers with 14pts, Rachel Nolt added 12! Brynn Adams scored 9pts for the Lady Mounts, Camryn Andes & Cara Tiesi had 8 each! Check out these highlights from a hard-fought game!

Ephrata is now one of the Final 4 teams left in the Girls L-L League Playoffs! They face Penn Manor in the Semifinals Tuesday, February 15, 2022!
