On the latest episode of Sportstalk... we continued to talk about the Winter Sports Season & check back in on our local boys basketball teams! In this conversation, we looked at the Warwick Warriors, who are chasing another Section 2 Title this season! Warwick girls picked up a much needed win on the road against Garden Spot... 56-20! Warriors jumped out fast in the game 11-0 & finished strong to even up their record at 10-10! Bella Smithson led the scoring with 16 points! Warwick is right in contention for the Final District 3 Playoff spot... #13 in 5A!

It was a WILD, back & forth showdown between Section 1 foes Penn Manor and Warwick! The Comets jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the 1st inning, but the Warriors stormed back with 5 runs in the 4th inning... ONLY to see Penn Manor plate 4 runs in the Final 2 innings to win 7-5!

-- The season series is tied 1-1... Game #3 is next Friday, May 5 at Penn Manor HS!

Lancaster Barnstormers picked up a much needed Win over Charleston with a 4-3 victory in Game #2 of the series! Stormers are trying to keep pace with the red-hot York Revolution & Southern Maryland Blue Crabs in the North Division!
