L-L Girl’s Basketball Playoffs (Quarters): Ephrata vs Manheim Central (2-12-22)

On the latest episode of Sportstalk... we continued to talk about the Winter Sports Season & check back in on our local girls basketball teams! In this conversation, we looked at the Ephrata Lady Mounts & Manheim Central Lady Barons... who are both chasing Section Titles this season! Warwick started off their District 3 Playoffs with authority, downing Red Lion 16-1 in 4 innings! Warriors blew the game open in the 3rd inning with 7 runs! Kate Shaak got the Win, allowing just 4 hits & 1 run… striking out 3 batters!

Warwick Boys Basketball advanced onto the Quarterfinals of the 6A District 3 Tournament after beating #10 Lebanon…58-49! Warriors take 2 out of 3 from the Cedars this year! Tate Landis led all scorers with 25pts! Trevor Evans had 11, Carter Horst added 10! #7 Warwick faces #2 Cumberland Valley on Friday at 7pm! We will be broadcasting it LIVE from Cumberland Valley HS!

Northern Lebanon picked up a 13-2 win over Cocalico in non-league action! Vikings Senior pitcher Brian Bicksler (2-1) was strong on the mound (5.1 IP, 3H, 2 R, 7 K) in the Win! Northern Lebanon's 2-3-4 hitters (Adrian Gonzalez, Connor Stoltz, Riley Messinger) were a combined 7-9 at the plate with 6 RBI, 7 runs scored, 2 doubles & 2 walks! Cocalico pushed across to runs late in the 6th inning, but could not hold off the Vikings offensive attack!

Northern Lebanon improved to 4-1, while Cocalico dropped to 1-4!
