Barons took an early 4-0 lead, but hung on against a scrappy Wildcats squad & moved onto the 5A District 3 Quarterfinals on Thursday against #8 Muhlenberg! Cedar Crest defeated Warwick 45-40 to win the L-L League Boys Title Back-to-Back & their 6th in school history! RJ Young scored 9 first quarter points to give the Falcons a 13-6 lead! Warwick stormed back in the 2nd quarter with a 14-4 run to take a 20-19 lead at halftime! In the 3rd quarter, the Falcons went on a 10-0 run to take a 29-22 lead only to see Warwick answer with an 8-0 run to take the lead BACK, to finish the quarter leading 32-31! Cedar Crest finished strong in the 4th, out-scoring the Warriors 14-8 to raise the trophy again! Seniors Danny Speaks and RJ Young each scored 14 points to lead Cedar Crest, while Senior Parker Horst led all scorers with 15 points for Warwick!
