L-L League Boys Basketball Playoffs — Finals: Warwick vs. Cedar Crest (2/14/25)

Cedar Crest defeated Warwick 45-40 to win the L-L League Boys Title Back-to-Back & their 6th in school history! RJ Young scored 9 first quarter points to give the Falcons a 13-6 lead! Warwick stormed back in the 2nd quarter with a 14-4 run to take a 20-19 lead at halftime! In the 3rd quarter, the Falcons went on a 10-0 run to take a 29-22 lead only to see Warwick answer with an 8-0 run to take the lead BACK, to finish the quarter leading 32-31! Cedar Crest finished strong in the 4th, out-scoring the Warriors 14-8 to raise the trophy again! Seniors Danny Speaks and RJ Young each scored 14 points to lead Cedar Crest, while Senior Parker Horst led all scorers with 15 points for Warwick!

-- 6A District 3 Playoffs begin Tuesday, February 18 for both of these teams! #12 Cedar Crest will visit #5 Wilson! #7 Warwick will host #10 Governor Mifflin! Winners advance to the 6A Quarterfinals... losers' season is over!

L-L League Football — Week 7: Cocalico vs. Ephrata (10-4-24)

In the 60th meeting of the "Backyard Brawl"... Cocalico beat Ephrata 10-7! It's the 9th straight win for the Eagles in this rivalry, as the Review Cup stays in Denver! But the All-Time series tightens up to 31-29 in favor of Ephrata!

-- Cocalico: Dane Horning's 30 yard TD run in the 2nd quarter was the difference for the Eagles! Talen Popolis also added a field goal in the win!

-- Ephrata: Brayden Brown ripped off a nifty 76 yard TD run for the Mounts only score!

Wrestling: Manheim Central vs Cocalico (12/11/24)

Manheim Central grabbed their 1st Win of the season 40-24 over Cocalico in another Great Section 2 Showdown! Upper weights started off strong for the Barons with Falls from Noah Templin at 189, Brodie Daugherty at 215, & Jason Dougherty at 285! Eagles fought back at the lighterweights, but Central’s Cody Hess (160) & AJ Hondru (172) slammed the door for the Baron Win!
