In our first High School baseball game of the Spring, Manheim Central jumped out to a big lead & held on for the 6-5 win over Cocalico! Barons Colton Book had a 3-run HR in the 1st! SP Connor Rohrer gets the Win; had 6 K’s! Also need to give a shoutout to Cocalico Freshman pitcher Trent Dickson, who threw 5 shutout innings in relief, gave up just 1 hit to a potent Barons lineup! Another stellar L-L League Wrestling Championship in the books! Here’s a look at the sights and sounds from the days’ action from Manheim Township HS!

🔹Conestoga Valley won the boys team title after they sent 6 wrestlers to the Finals, winning 5 🥇 Ephrata finished 4th, Manheim Central 6th, Cocalico 9th, Warwick 11th & Garden Spot 17th! On the girls side, JP McCaskey won the team title over Hempfield, with Warwick finishing 7th as our only local school with a girls team!

▪️Congrats to Northern Lebanon’s Aaron Seidel who joined the 4X League Champion Club winning at 133lbs!

Manheim Central knocked off rival Cocalico in Week 10... 42-20 on the strength of a HUGE 2nd half! Barons outscored the Eagles 35-6 in the 3rd & 4th quarters! In doing so, Manheim Central finished 9-1 overall AND forced a 3-way tie for the Section 2 Title! Warwick, Manheim Central and Cocalico with split the trophy this year!
