Lampeter-Strasburg & Manheim Central squared off for the 3rd time this year… this time in the L-L League Semifinals! While both offenses were sizzlin…including each squad hitting 11-3pters… it was LS getting the win again, 75-68! Ty Burton was sensational, had a Season High 33 points for Lampeter-Strasburg! Trey Grube led the Barons with 26 points; Judd Novak had 22! Check out these highlights…

Ephrata came out strong & took Game 1 from Manheim Central. ONLY their 2nd game surrendered this season! But the Barons regrouped & stormed back to win 3 games in a row! Central remains unbeaten at 10-0, knocking off Ephrata 3-1! Barons swept the season series 2-0! ALL eyes on the rematch with Garden spot next week!

In a “Battle of the Unbeatens” early in the Section 2 season, Manheim Central took Cocalico’s Best shot but handed the Eagles their first loss of the year… 3-1 (25-14, 23-25, 25-22, 27-25)! Reagan Miller had a big day for the Barons with 21 kills & 2 huge aces in Game 4! Cocalico’s Colson Hildebrand had 14 kills for the Eagles!
🔹Round 2 is at Cocalico on Thursday, April 24… By the way, Manheim Central is ranked #2 in AA in the State!
L-L Boy’s Basketball: Manheim Central vs. Warwick (12-13-21)
Warwick notched a rivalry win over Manheim Central 63-46, thanks to a 24-8 2nd QT surge over the Barons!
Warwick’s Tate Landis: Game-high 21pts (2-3’s - Warriors had 8)

Baseball: Manheim Central vs. Ephrata (5-2-25)
Mounts WALKED IT OFF 3-2 over Manheim Central in a WILD ending to a fast-paced, close game! Barons took the early lead with 2 runs in the 3rd inning, but the Mounts answered back with 2 runs in the 4th inning! After 7 full innings, the game was tied 2-2... so we went extra innings! Ephrata loaded the bases bottom of the 8th inning & on a full count, Ethan Hunt took off for home... the pitch hit JD Muhr and Ephrata Won in dramatic fashion! -- Camryn Simes (7-0) came away with the Win in relief for Ephrata!
