Bella Pratt & Mya Curran put the Lady Mounts ahead 2-0 at halftime, but CV equalized in the 2nd half with goals from Ella Buch & Sienna DiGiamberdini! Averi Bender broke the tie for Ephrata in the 65th minute, sealing the Win for the Lady Mounts!
Round 1 of the “Backyard Brawl” went to Ephrata (4-1 Sec. 2) who knocked off rival Cocalico (3-3 Sec. 2) 58-43! Mounts used a 17-4 advantage in the 4th quarter to pull away! Ephrata’s Marqus Hardin led all scorers with 22 points! Landry Kopp & Grayson Shellhammer each added 11! Cocalico’s Timmy Hambright had 19 points, including 5 three-pointers!
