Boys Volleyball: Hempfield vs. Warwick (5-7-26)

Hempfield completed the perfect run thru Section 1 going 12-0 after they beat Warwick 3-1 in their final game of League play! George Agadis led the Black Knights with 17 kills, while Thomas Mejia led the Warriors with 12! It’s Hempfield’s 1st outright Section 🏆 since 2021 (They split titles with Warwick in 2022 & 2024) 🔹Hempfield will host the L-L Boys 🏐 Semifinals on Monday, May 11… we will update you on matchups when brackets are finalized BUT those Semis will air LIVE on Blue Ridge 11 📺 at 5pm & 7pm! Conestoga Valley (14-0) as the Section 2 Champ, will be in the other Semifinal opposite of Hempfield!

▪️#1 Manheim Central beat #2 York Suburban 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-19)! Sr. Setter Dylan Musser was on his game with 34 assists, 8 kills, 2 solo blocks and 5 HUGE service Aces! Sr. Reagan Miller led the Barons with 11 kills, followed by Sr. Landon Mattiace with 10!

🔹Manheim Central (20-1) hosts a PIAA State First Round game on Tuesday, June 3 against the District 12 runner up, Palumbo (11-11)!

Baseball: Manheim Central vs. Ephrata (5-2-25)

Mounts WALKED IT OFF 3-2 over Manheim Central in a WILD ending to a fast-paced, close game! Barons took the early lead with 2 runs in the 3rd inning, but the Mounts answered back with 2 runs in the 4th inning! After 7 full innings, the game was tied 2-2... so we went extra innings! Ephrata loaded the bases bottom of the 8th inning & on a full count, Ethan Hunt took off for home... the pitch hit JD Muhr and Ephrata Won in dramatic fashion! -- Camryn Simes (7-0) came away with the Win in relief for Ephrata!
