Ephrata Lady Mounts grabbed bragging rights again in the “Backyard Brawl” after completing the comeback against Cocalico… 33-30! Ephrata was down 21-12 at half, but outscored Cocalico 21-9 in the 2nd half!

The Stormers are sizzling hot, winners of 10 in a row! Lancaster won both games of a doubleheader today against Hagerstown, sweeping the series with the Flying Boxcars! Game 1 came down to the end as Lancaster won it 7-4! Ephrata opened up the 2025 High School Baseball Season with a 12-2 Win over cross-town rival Warwick! Mounts Junior pitcher Camryn Simes (1-0) struck out 10 Warwick batters thru 6 innings, giving up 1 hit & 2 runs! Leadoff hitter Ethan Hunt reached base ALL 5 at-bats, scored 4 times (4 BB, 1b, 4 runs, 2 RBI)... The Warriors’ 4 pitchers combined for 13 strikeouts of their own, but gave up 9 walks & hit 4 batters!

Palmyra Cougars pulled off a hard-fought 62-54 victory over the Warwick Warriors in a thrilling non-league matchup! Palmyra held a narrow 27-22 lead at halftime before extending it in the second half, thanks to standout performances from Alex Dorta, who led all scorers with 20 points. Ya’Majesty Washington led Warwick with 15 points, while Parker Horst added 10! Warrior suffered their first Loss of the season!
