Baseball: Warwick vs. Ephrata (3-27-23)

Hempfield Boys Volleyball makes a statement as they sweep Warwick 3-0, ending the Warriors unbeaten record! Black Knights also forced a tie atop the Section 1 standings! Both teams have now won on their home courts... if they win out, Warwick & Hempfield will share the title! Will we see a Round #3? #5 Cocalico won convincingly in the 1st round of the 3A District 3 ⚽️ Playoffs… beating #12 Eastern York 5-0! Timmy Hambright scored first for the Eagles in the 6th minute & scored again in the 36th minute to give him 2 of Cocalico’s 5 goals! Talen Popolis (13 goals: team lead) had 2 as well for the Eagles! Eli Barry added to the scoring just a minute into the 2nd half! This is the most goals in a single game by Cocalico this season!

🔹#5 Cocalico advanced to the 3A Quarterfinals on Thursday, October 24 to face #4 Shippensburg on the road!

It was a Senior Night to remember for Manheim Central softball, who got the win 12-4 over Garden Spot! ??? Lady Barons hammered out 16 hits, as Seniors Emma Damon & Gabby Wettig went a combined 6-7 at the plate with 8 RBI total! Check out these highlights…
