Our FIRST ⚾️ game of the Spring Season had some late inning drama as Ephrata walked it off in the bottom of the 7th against Warwick to Win 6-5! Mounts trailed 5-1 heading bottom 6… but scored 5 unanswered runs down the stretch, including a bases loaded… walkoff “wild pitch” in the 7th to plate the game-winning run! 🔸BIG game for Ethan Gockley (Jr.), who not only scored the Winning run, But came in relief late to pitch & got the Win for the Mounts! Gockley went 2-2 at the dish, with 3 runs scored, 2 walks & 2 SB!

#1 Manheim Central took care of business in the 2A Quarterfinals, advancing onto the next round with a 3-0 Win (25-11, 25-13, 25-13) over #8 Northern Lebanon! It was the 3rd time beating the Vikings this season, who are Section 2 foes of the Barons! Reagan Miller led Central with 11 kills, followed by Landon Mattiace with 9 & Blake Neiles with 6! Dylan Musser had 28 assists in the match!

▪️Manheim Central will host a 2A Semifinal match next Tuesday, May 27 at “The Derb” & we will most likely broadcast that LIVE on Blue Ridge 11 📺

Baseball: Penn Manor vs. Ephrata (4-16-25)

Penn Manor jumped out to an early 3-0 lead, but Ephrata made it a 3-2 ballgame in the 4th! That's when the Comets hung 5 runs on the board in the top of the 6th and cruised to an 8-2 victory! Ephrata and Penn Manor are both battling for the #2 spot in Section 1 play along with Manheim Township, who are all chasing Hempfield!
