In their Final game at “The Derb” this season, Manheim Central stormed back from a 25-18 deficit at halftime against Donegal… by outscoring the Indians 38-20 in the 2nd half! Barons Won on Senior Night in comeback fashion… 56-45! ▪️A trio of Seniors led the charge… “Mr. 1,000” Chase Book had 18pts (2-3’s)… Maddix Whitman also had 18pts (4-3’s) & Zach Hunt added 15pts (4-3’s)! Barons were 7-12 from 3pt long range in the 2nd half! 🔹Manheim Central (8-11 Overall, 4-6 in Section 3) has 3 games left, ALL on the road… Solanco (Feb. 5); Wyomissing (Feb. 7); East Pennsboro (Feb. 9)!

#1 Manheim Central took care of business in the 2A Quarterfinals, advancing onto the next round with a 3-0 Win (25-11, 25-13, 25-13) over #8 Northern Lebanon! It was the 3rd time beating the Vikings this season, who are Section 2 foes of the Barons! Reagan Miller led Central with 11 kills, followed by Landon Mattiace with 9 & Blake Neiles with 6! Baseball: Penn Manor vs. Ephrata (4-16-25)

Penn Manor jumped out to an early 3-0 lead, but Ephrata made it a 3-2 ballgame in the 4th! That's when the Comets hung 5 runs on the board in the top of the 6th and cruised to an 8-2 victory! Ephrata and Penn Manor are both battling for the #2 spot in Section 1 play along with Manheim Township, who are all chasing Hempfield!
