Warwick punched their ticket BACK to the League Finals after beating Manheim Central 3-0 in the L-L Semifinals! Karys Craver, Elena Care & Ella Klazas scored for the Warriors! ▪️Warwick (17-3) will get the highly anticipated REMATCH with Section 1 rival Penn Manor in the L-L Finals on Thursday, October 16 at Elizabethtown HS (7PM)! Warriors will look to capture the League 🏆 for the first time since 2011… FYI – that was the ONLY 🏆 Warwick did not Win in 2024!
Mounts WALKED IT OFF 3-2 over Manheim Central in a WILD ending to a fast-paced, close game! Barons took the early lead with 2 runs in the 3rd inning, but the Mounts answered back with 2 runs in the 4th inning! After 7 full innings, the game was tied 2-2... so we went extra innings! Ephrata loaded the bases bottom of the 8th inning & on a full count, Ethan Hunt took off for home... the pitch hit JD Muhr and Ephrata Won in dramatic fashion! -- Camryn Simes (7-0) came away with the Win in relief for Ephrata!
Hempfield kept their PERFECT season (21-0) alive, knocking off Ephrata 2-1 in the L-L League Baseball Championship Game! It’s Hempfield’s 1st League ⚾️🏆 since 2014 & their 10th overall! Black Knights starting pitcher Brody Gebhard got the Win (6 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 6 K, 4 BB)… Mounts starting pitcher Collin Miller went toe to toe with Hempfield’s hitter but got the loss (5.2 IP, 7 H, 2 R, 6 K, 2 BB)

#7 Warwick advanced to the next round of the 5A District 3 Softball Playoffs after a 13-3 Win in 5 innings over #10 Northern York! Warriors fell behind 3-0 early, but stormed back with 13 unanswered runs in the 3rd, 4th & 5th innings! Brooklyn Nolt, Mackenzie Ellis, Katie Heisey & Emerson Overly went a combined 7-11 at the top of the order with 9 RBI, 7 runs scored, 2 doubles, 1 triple & 2 BB! Kate Shaak (5 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 5 K, 3 BB) got her 16th Win of the season for Warwick!
