L-L League Boys Basketball Playoffs — Semifinals: Conestoga Valley vs Cedar Crest (2/12/25)

Hagerstown mounted a 9th inning comeback against Lancaster & won it 9-8 in 10 innings to avoid a sweep by the Stormers! Lancaster had taken the lead in the 8th inning by scoring 4 runs, sparked by a 2 RBI double by Isan Diaz & a 2 run homer by Mason Martin! But a bench-clearing brawl halted all Stormers momentum & the Flying Boxcars get out of town with a win!

For the 1st time since 1991, Ephrata Girls Basketball will play for an L-L League Title ? Lady Mounts punched their ticket with a 37-35 OT Win over Section 1 Champ Penn Manor! INCREDIBLE finish! Jasmine Griffin had a Game-High 17pts; scored her 1,000th point! Brynn Adams had 10, including a buzzer-beating 3pter to force Overtime! Cocalico wins Round 1 of the "Backyard Brawl" beating Ephrata 4-0! Timmy Hambright got the scoring started in the 10th minute off a Cade Upson assist! Then Jordan Wambolt & David Pierdomenico made it 3-0 at halftime! Hambright added a 2nd goal 2 minutes after the break! Eagles win & will face Ephrata again on October 1 in a crucial Section 2 late season showdown!

Manheim Central rallied late in the game to take Round 1 against Cocalico… 4-3! Barons exploded for 3 runs in the 6th inning, capped off by Ky Watson’s RBI 1b! Trevor Lowe picked up the Win! Trent Dickson threw 6 solid innings with 7 K's, but was chased in the 6th! Nolan Book also blasted a solo home run for the Barons! Central has now won 3 straight Section 3 games!
