Conestoga Valley clinched a spot in the L-L League Playoffs with a 55-45 Win over Cocalico! Buckskins relied on a trio of scorers… DaMere Salisbery, Grayson Fisher & Sawyer Esbenshade… who all dropped in 12 points a piece! CV also hit 7 three-pointers in the game! Four Mounts scored in double figures but it wasn't enough to complete the comeback... Cocalico grabbed the bragging rights for another year!
Ephrata baseball pushed their record to 4-1 this Spring after knocking off Cedar Crest 9-1 in a League Crossover game! Mounts jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the 1st inning & never looked back! Cocalico ran into a very tough Lancaster Catholic squad in the quarterfinals as the Eagles & Crusaders traded shots & saves… but neither team could put one home… UNTIL Cocalico netted the game winner in 2OT! Jordan Wambolt was the hero for the Eagles, scoring in the 103rd minute to give Cocalico the 1-0 win!
