L-L League Wrestling Championships: Boys & Girls Finals (1/25/25)

Another stellar L-L League Wrestling Championship in the books! Here’s a look at the sights and sounds from the days’ action from Manheim Township HS!

🔹Conestoga Valley won the boys team title after they sent 6 wrestlers to the Finals, winning 5 🥇 Ephrata finished 4th, Manheim Central 6th, Cocalico 9th, Warwick 11th & Garden Spot 17th! On the girls side, JP McCaskey won the team title over Hempfield, with Warwick finishing 7th as our only local school with a girls team!

▪️Congrats to Northern Lebanon’s Aaron Seidel who joined the 4X League Champion Club winning at 133lbs!

The Lebanon Ironmasters... AKA the Lancaster Stormers... are UNSTOPPABLE in their alternate uniforms! They swept the 3-game weekend series with the Charleston Dirty Birds after a 6-3 Win on Sunday! Over the past 3 years, the Lancaster Stormers are a PERFECT 9-0 when donning the "Lebanon Ironmasters" home uniforms!

-- Christian Santana stayed scorching hot this weekend with a 2-3 effort at the plate with 3 RBI, including a 3-run homer in the 5th! Santana pushed his season batting average to .402!

Atlantic League Baseball: Staten Island vs. Lancaster (6-25-24)

Lancaster Stormers busted out of a slump, beating Staten Island 13-4 in the first game of their series this week! Stormers got home runs from Shawon Dunston Jr., Justin Farmer & Damon Dues… plus, 5 RBI from Joseph Carpenter! All for of those guys combined for 13 RBI... starter Noah Bremer got the win, going 6 innings, giving up 9 hits and just 2 runs!

Girls Volleyball: Cocalico vs. Ephrata (10-7-24)

It was “Dig Pink Night” for the annual “Backyard Brawl” in girls volleyball 🩷🏐🩷 Ephrata jumped out to the early 2-0 lead, but Cocalico grabbed Game 3… 25-18 to avoid the sweep! Lady Mounts regrouped & won Game 4… 25-15 to take the match 3-1! Ephrata's Sofia Rios had a Great serving night with 7 total aces! Martina Elliot led the team with 14 kills! For the Lady Eagles, Jaclyn Niven had 16 kills and 5 blocks!
